Thoughts on prayer and the needs of our partner organizations.
One of the most intriguing phrases I have ever heard, actually it was a lyric from a Rend Collective song, is “Boldly I approach Your throne.” This struck me, because there is an authority we can walk with when it comes to prayer, but this boldness was something that I found difficult to comprehend for a long while. Yet, we are called to approach the throne with confidence during times of need. We live in the new covenant with Christ, which means we are welcomed with nail-scarred hands into the inner courts. What a magnificent picture of grace and love! Prayer isn’t an aimless gesture or a weak plea, it can be a powerful weapon, and a game changer in our lives.
So, let’s challenge ourselves today, not to just thank God for our food, or praise him for the day before we go to bed (not that these are bad things to do), but let us step boldly to the throne and pray with the authority and power that He has given to us. Join us for prayer in these areas of our partner’s ministries:
The Sanctuary: We are facing some major obstacles in getting
power to the site. Pray for feasible solutions
Sanctuary Horses: We have a new winter home! Pray that we get
opportunities to use the new facility as a blessing.
SAFV: For the families and children who are receiving help and
services, that all of their needs would be met.
Jae Foundation: Pray for those on the front lines helping people
in crisis, that they would be covered in peace and wisdom.
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
