AGENTS OF HOPE
I was traveling through Pinedale and learned about The Sanctuary while having breakfast on main street at Heart & Soul. I was so impressed by my time with Amy who shared more of The Sanctuary’s story with us and instantly I knew we couldn’t ignore how special it is. I do hippo therapy, a type of equine therapy that integrates physical therapy, occupational therapy, and equine therapy; I have seen amazing outcomes for the kids I have worked with using this modality. I know that the equine therapy that will be offered at The Sanctuary will be a fabulous asset to the girls there who are in need of healing, and I know God is so happy to see this come to life.
NATIONAL DEPRESSION EDUCATION AND AWARENESS MONTH
Depression is very real and often misunderstood - it’s more than just feeling sad. The truth is depression is a complex condition impacting all walks of life; over 14.8 million Americans have a major depressive diagnosis.
SYMPTONS CAN LOOK LIKE:
Loss of pleasure in all or most activities
Change in sleep and activity
Fatigue and loss of energy
Lack of concentration
Feelings of guilt and worthlessness
If you see these symptoms in yourself or your loved ones for two or more weeks, please consider making an appointment with a medical professional. Help our communities debunk the stereotype of depression - It’s more than sadness - it’s a real chemical imbalance in the human brain that needs medical attention.
SANCTUARY HORSES UPDATE
Take an inside look at Sanctuary Horses' new winter home!
The roads to the lodge site are underway. Please pray that the weather will cooperate to allow us to complete this project before winter arrives. We also need prayer for POWER and how we will reasonably get it to the lodge site.
Please pray for purposeful partnerships and connections so that we can fully utilize the new indoor arena in a way that blesses the local community.
SAFV Task force
The prayer request would be for their clients who are fighting a difficult system, and for the courage to not give up.
Pray for the Jae Foundation as many graduating seniors throughout Idaho and Wyoming are getting to learn about Jae’s story and receive their own Jae boots. Pray for these boot check experiences to have a life saving impact on these teens and their families.
